Rate Yourself –Where do you belong?

There are many factors where you can gauge your standing as a rider. Here they are:Experience. Driving defensively must be the rider’s priority. This is to avoid mishaps and other irrational consequences. An experienced rider is an expert when it comes to quick turns, quick stops, and handling curves, bends and the likes. In other words, he has thorough knowledge of his motorcycle.Skill. Aside from the vital maneuvers, cautiousness and alertness are the skills that need to be mastered by a rider. Recklessness and laxity may bring about collisions and other untoward accidents. Thus, a rider who is reckless and lax is not worthy of driving because he may endanger the lives of others.Compatibility. Motorcycles and drivers need be compatible. The rider must take care of his motorcycle before the latter can transport him safely. Regular maintenance is a must. Properly maintained motorcycle creates an impression of a ruggedly handsome rider.Attitude. A responsible rider never drives when intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol. He also knows how to combat fatigue, stress and sleepiness. Another important point is the attitude to be always safe. In this regard, the use of motorcycle apparel and accessories are indispensable. If you are going to rate yourself from 1-10, ten being the highest, what rate are you deserving of?

Who Can You Bank On?

We drive because we want to experience riding adventures. We ride because it’s our passion and to take it away from us would mean doom and sacrifice. We drive simply because we love it. Some riders may say that they want thrill, considerate pain but certainly death does not come in their preferences.

To be injured or fatally wounded is a big deal. The same thing applies when you injure another or caused his untimely death. In this case, when every circumstance is against you, as a rider, what will you do? Who can you turn to?

According to statistics, 60 per centum of all reported motorcycle accidents result in injury or death. Approximately 2,000 motorcyclists are killed each year. On the other hand, more than 50,000 are injured in traffic collisions each year. Guess what’s the leading cause of death? – Its head injury. I for one use Shoei motorcycle full face helmets accessories to keep me away from the peril of death.

But let’s face it, what if we are faced with the aforementioned dilemma? You will probably ask questions like who’s goin’ to pay the medical bills and the likes?, where can I get money?, etc…

The best thing to do is to acquire the services of a personal injury attorney. It’s hard to take chances at this crucial point. You do not know what papers to sign and not to. You do not know the defenses. You do not even know how to start a claim. Another thing is that, you do not know up to what point you are liable or entitled to damages.

This situation needs a lawyer to help you out and exit the situation meritoriously!

Rider’s Armor saves my Ride

Every time I go out with my motorcycle, I am always prepared with my armor against accidents and annoying incidents. My armor is the volition of being prepared all the time. And how do I carry out the rider’s armor?I follow the rules of the road. What are my must haves? I had a license. My license is a sure guarantee that I passed the standards to safely maneuver my motorcycle. I even had a motorcycle safety course to be adept in driving. Practice and more practice – that’s my goal during the early phase of my driving. Another group of must haves are quality gears –helmets, jacket, gloves, chaps and boots. They protect the riders against cold, fall and injuries. What are the must’s in riding? You must be visible. I use bright, glow in the dark, if not neon Dunlop motorcycle accessories they kept me visible even in the darkest nook of the streets. Also, riding with your headlight on is a must. What are my no-no’s? One of my ideals is not to over speed. Riders don’t know the importance of driving with the right speed to accommodate a safe distance and to be alert to the passersby and other automobiles on the road.Another no-no is drinking alcohol and other drowse causing medicines. This is one of the top reasons why collisions and other accidents happen. When I drive, I try to be cautious, aware and mindful of my surroundings. That’s the surest way to go home intact and breathing easy!
